Exposing Visual Perceptions

Don't design to fit in, design to stand out!

Color vision deficiency is a largely genetic disease that affects 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women worldwide.

Even though it is not life threatening, "it affects and impacts consumer emotions, enjoyment, efficiency an safety-related aspects of shopping, product use and advertising comprehension."

There has been a virtual explosion of the presence and reliability of color in design. But, there is a lack of awareness that some consumers remain limited in the ability to access market information due to many colors being partially or totally imperceptible causing consumer information to not be processed or perceived in ways traditionally expected.

So don't let your designs slowly fall, take this advice and design for all!
